App Description

Measure roof pitch quickly with the iPhone already in your pocket.

Pitchline is a practical roof pitch gauge for roofers, carpenters, contractors, inspectors, estimators and DIY projects. Place your iPhone against a safely reachable sloped surface, wait for a stable reading and lock the result.

TWO MEASUREMENT MODES
• Edge: place the long edge of the iPhone flush against a rafter, fascia or material sample.
• Surface: lay the back of the iPhone flat on the surface with the screen facing up.

GET THE VALUES YOU NEED
• Roof pitch as rise-over-12
• Angle in degrees
• Slope percentage
• Stable-reading indicator
• Separate Edge and Surface calibration
• Placement guidance and haptic feedback

TRY 3 COMPLETED MEASUREMENTS FREE
Opening the Measure screen, moving the phone or abandoning a reading does not use your allowance. A free measurement is counted only after you successfully lock the result. Your third result remains fully available.

UNLOCK PITCHLINE PRO ONCE
Pitchline Pro is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It includes:
• Unlimited Edge and Surface measurements
• Unlimited projects and measurement history
• Camera alignment records and visual estimates
• Rafter length calculator
• Shareable PDF field reports

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Pitchline does not require an account. Projects, measurements, notes and photos stay on your iPhone. The app does not use advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking.

IMPORTANT SAFETY AND ACCURACY INFORMATION
Use Pitchline only from a safe position. Never climb onto a roof solely to take a measurement. Measurements and rafter calculations are estimates; verify them with appropriate tools and local building requirements before cutting, purchasing materials or making structural decisions.
