App Description
"How much did I give at their wedding?"
"Did I send a thank-you gift yet?"
Goshugi Memo is a simple ledger for cash gifts. In Japan, guests give cash in a decorative envelope (goshugi) at weddings, births and other celebrations, and the people who receive it send back a return gift (uchiiwai) worth about half within a month. Keeping track of who gave what is part of the etiquette, and this app makes it easy.
Perfect if you live in Japan, are Japanese living abroad, have been invited to a Japanese wedding, or simply want a tidy record of the gifts you give and receive.
