TellTrain

Most body-language advice is folklore. TellTrain is the training manual that tells you which cues research actually supports — and which ones to stop trusting.

This is perception training for the observer. TellTrain never uses your camera, never scans a real person and never issues verdicts about anyone. It sharpens what you notice, then teaches you how much weight a signal deserves.

A LIBRARY BUILT ON HONESTY
44 annotated signals across face and eyes, hands, posture, legs and voice. Every entry carries its meaning, the context that changes it, and an explicit "what it does NOT mean" block — because the wrong inference is worse than no inference.

RELIABILITY RATINGS ON EVERY SIGNAL
Each cue is labelled supported, context-dependent or myth-prone. Popular tells that the evidence does not back — gaze aversion, hidden hands — are flagged as myths rather than sold as secrets. You learn the limits along with the signal.

SPOT THE TELL DRILLS
A timed six-round exercise with two formats: name the signal from a photo, or match a behavioural summary to the correct cue. Twenty seconds per round, enough pressure to build real recognition speed.

A 16-LESSON STRUCTURED COURSE
Four levels that unlock in order, from fundamentals through to field expert. Short lessons, plain language, no filler and no self-help theatre.

FLASHCARDS AND PROGRESS TRACKING
Flip cards with mastered and review sorting for spaced repetition, plus a restart control when you want a clean pass. The dashboard tracks your field rank, drill accuracy, best streak, day streak and per-category mastery bars.

OPTIONAL DAILY REMINDER
Set a practice time that suits you and keep the streak alive. Or don't — nothing nags.

FULLY OFFLINE, NO ACCOUNT, NO CAMERA
Everything runs on the device. No sign-up, no upload, no analysis of real people. Your progress stays local and can be wiped at any time.

WHO IT IS FOR
Negotiators, salespeople, managers, interviewers, therapists, teachers, and anyone who wants to read a room with more accuracy and less confidence than they had yesterday.

WHAT IT IS NOT
TellTrain is not a lie detector. It does not analyse, diagnose or judge people. It makes no claim that any behaviour reveals deception. It is a study tool for understanding nonverbal communication and its documented limits.
