App Description

Photograph a textbook page. Get flashcards you can practise offline.

Halo Study turns a page of your own textbook into flashcards you can practise anywhere - on the bus, in a power cut, on a phone with no data left.

Photograph the page. The app reads it on the phone, finds the sentences worth remembering, and makes cards from them. Every card shows the exact sentence it came from, so you can always check it against the book.

WORKS WITHOUT A CONNECTION
Scanning, cards, practice and progress all happen on your phone. No account is needed for any of it. Nothing is uploaded unless you choose to share a set.

READS NEPALI AND ENGLISH
Text recognition handles Devanagari and Latin script, so a Nepali textbook works as well as an English one. Cards can be read aloud in the language they are written in - free, offline, using your phone's own voice, or with a voice you download once and keep.

REMEMBERS WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO FORGET
Cards you get wrong come back in ten minutes. Cards you get right come back in a day, then three, then a week, then longer. The app tells you what is due and why.

SHARE A SET WITH YOUR CLASS
Send a link. Anyone can read the set in a browser; anyone with the app can take the cards into their own library. Links expire by themselves and you can switch one off at any time.

STUDY TOGETHER
Connect a Gossip account to make a study group, set a challenge for your class, and see a board. Scores travel. Which cards you personally got wrong never leaves your phone.

WHAT IT DOES NOT DO
No adverts. No analytics. No tracking of any kind - there is no such code in the app. Photographs of your pages are read on the phone and never uploaded.

Made in Nepal.
