App Description

Block a commedia scene and see πŸ‘€ how the picture actually reads.

Orvex is a staging studio for masked theatre. A mask has no face in profile, a servant placed above his master inverts the status, a body turned away from its partner closes the triangle β€” commedia has rules about where a figure may stand, and Orvex applies them to the picture you build πŸ”¨.

1. Open the trunk. Ten commedia masks live there β€” Arlecchino, Pantalone, Il Dottore, Il Capitano, Pulcinella, Colombina, Zanni, Brighella, Tartaglia, Pedrolino β€” each with its family, its register, the way it walks, the geometry of its leather and the angle past which it stops reading.

2. Take the boards. Drag βœ‹ the masks you have cast onto the stage plan πŸ—ΊοΈ and turn each one with its facing dial. Upstage and downstage are marked, and the house sits below the footlight edge.

3. Read the score πŸ”’. The picture is judged live, out of a hundred, against six rules of the form: a mask dead in profile, inverted status geometry, a closed body, upstage crowding, the balance βš–οΈ of the triangle, and whether the lazzi beat is held. Every fault names itself in plain words and offers the move that repairs it β€” and the repair is one tap πŸ‘†, applied to the figure on the plan πŸ—ΊοΈ.

4. Set the house standard. Strictness shifts the pass line, so the same arrangement can read clean 🧼 on a forgiving night and muddy on a hard one, and every staging you have booked is regraded with it.

5. Generate a spine. From the masks you have on call, Orvex builds a canovaccio skeleton β€” acts, scenes and a lazzi beat for each of them β€” and works out how the stage time ⏱️ divides between your company.

6. Measure πŸ“ your own mask. Photograph the leather you actually perform in, drag βœ‹ one marker to its eye-line and another to its chin-line, and Orvex computes the focus vector that mask projects and the furthest row it still reads from. The photograph is kept with the mask and can be replaced or struck whenever you want it gone.

7. Keep the ledger. Booked nights collect into a bill of stagings and a ledger of the season: how the stage time ⏱️ split, which masks have stood on the boards together, and how your scores moved against the pass line.

Everything is computed and kept on this device πŸ“±. Nothing is fetched, and there is nothing to sign in to.
